British Airways vape & e-liquid rules

Vapes and e-cigarettes must travel in the British Airways cabin — never in checked baggage, because of the lithium battery. The e-liquid itself is a liquid: bottles of 100 ml or less inside your clear bag, including the juice already in the tank.

What to know before you pack

Using or charging a vape on board is prohibited on every commercial flight, including in the toilets.
Empty or part-empty the tank before flying — cabin pressure changes cause leaks.
Spare batteries must be individually protected against short circuits and carried in the cabin.
Musical instruments up to 126×30×38 cm may replace your cabin bag.
Suit carriers up to 60×110×11 cm are allowed as an additional handbag on some fares.
Vape devices, spare batteries and power banks must be cabin-only, protected against activation.
