Iberia vape & e-liquid rules
Vapes and e-cigarettes must travel in the Iberia cabin — never in checked baggage, because of the lithium battery. The e-liquid itself is a liquid: bottles of 100 ml or less inside your clear bag, including the juice already in the tank.
Send these rules to whoever you're travelling with.
What to know before you pack
- Using or charging a vape on board is prohibited on every commercial flight, including in the toilets.
- Empty or part-empty the tank before flying — cabin pressure changes cause leaks.
- Spare batteries must be individually protected against short circuits and carried in the cabin.
- Baby food and prescription liquids are exempt.

Frequently asked
Can I bring a vape on Iberia?
Yes, in hand luggage only. Iberia follows the standard airline rule: vapes and spare lithium batteries stay with you in the cabin and must not be used in flight.
Does vape juice count toward the 100ml liquid limit?
Yes. E-liquid is treated like any other liquid, so each bottle must be 100 ml or less and fit inside your clear bag.
