KLM vape & e-liquid rules
Vapes and e-cigarettes must travel in the KLM cabin — never in checked baggage, because of the lithium battery. The e-liquid itself is a liquid: bottles of 100 ml or less inside your clear bag, including the juice already in the tank.

What to know before you pack
- Using or charging a vape on board is prohibited on every commercial flight, including in the toilets.
- Empty or part-empty the tank before flying — cabin pressure changes cause leaks.
- Spare batteries must be individually protected against short circuits and carried in the cabin.
- Baby food, medical liquids and formula are exempt from the 100 ml rule.
