What's the liquid rule at Heathrow Terminal 3?
The standard 100ml-container rule applies. Each liquid, gel or paste must be in a container of 100ml or smaller, all fitting inside a single 1-litre clear plastic bag.
Can I bring duty-free liquids bought in T3 onto a US-connecting flight?
Only if you don't re-clear security in the US. Most US-bound flights from T3 are direct, so it's fine — but if you connect onward inside the US, you'll be asked to bin or check the bottle.
Is T3 security worse than T5?
Often, yes. T5 has more CT-scanner lanes; T3 still runs older lanes. Build in extra time for T3 in summer.
