Quick answer
Cabin only, exempt from 100ml, declared at screening, with prescription.
How to pack
- Unopened pens: insulated bag with declared frozen cool packs
- In-use pens: room temperature is fine, just keep out of direct sunlight
- Always cabin baggage — hold temperatures can freeze and ruin the pen
- Keep original box with pharmacy label and prescription
At security
Declare it at the start. Officers may inspect the pen, ask about your prescription, and occasionally vapour-test the cool pack. Don't put pens through the X-ray belt loose — keep them in the insulated bag and tell the officer first.
International notes
Allowed everywhere with prescription. UAE, Singapore and some Middle Eastern countries want a doctor's letter with the active ingredient (semaglutide/tirzepatide) named. Australia is strict about quantities — bring 3 months max.
