What is the Stansted liquids rule in 2026?
Stansted Airport (STN) currently enforces the 100ml hand luggage liquid rule. All containers must be 100ml or smaller and fit inside one 1-litre clear resealable bag, one bag per passenger.
Does Stansted allow more than 100ml of liquid?
No. Stansted has not yet deployed CT scanners across all lanes, so the 100ml-per-container rule still applies. Bottles over 100ml will normally be removed at security.
Do I need to take liquids out of my bag at Stansted?
Yes — at Stansted you should take your clear liquids bag out of your hand luggage and place it in the tray at the security lane.
Can I take toothpaste or deodorant through Stansted security?
Yes, if the container is 100ml or smaller and inside your 1-litre clear bag. Larger tubes and full-size aerosols must go in checked baggage.
